摘要：Movies about later life that present old people as protagonists are notcommon, although in the last decades an increasing number of this kind offilm has been seen on cinema screens. Therefore, it is no wonder there arefew cinematic studies with interpretations of later life in movies. This bookwith interpretations of later life on screen is a welcome contribution to culturalgerontology, not least because its fresh interpretations are inspiredby a rich theoretical insight from perspectives not yet widely incorporatedwithin cultural gerontology.
