Our study focuses on ICT in teacher training at the secondary school. Thus, the overall objective of this study is to understand how ICTs can empower teachers in their teaching practices. To achieve this objective, we met with 20 teachers from a secondary school in Niamey who responded to a questionnaire and individual semi-structured interviews. The results show that the basic computer tools are fairly well understood in contrast to complex tools. Noting at the end of this study that the teachers are not competent enough techno, a repository of ICT skills has been designed.
