摘要：This paper is a comparative study of state of infrastructures development in Nigeria and Africa states inrelationship with the ongoing climate change vis-à-vis its attendant challenges. The paper identified deficit ininfrastructural development is a threat to global peace. The paper posited that regardless of the fact that mostAfrican states records low gas emission to the atmosphere, they suffer a lot from climatic variability. It finallyconcluded that for a sustainable development, there is a strong need for both political and financial will toimprove the quality of infrastructures in African states. The green building scheme should be embraced byAfrican nations to raise consciousness of the need to protect the environment, reduce demand on fossil fuel aswell as alleviate the disaster of global warming.
