摘要：As a developing country Bangladesh is often cited as one of the mostclimate vulnerable countries due to its geophysical location. In thiscontext, the country has formulated Bangladesh Climate ChangeStrategy and Action Plan (BCCSAP) 2009 in order to address theproblem. The proper implementation of BCCSAP is closely associatedwith the activities of Bangladesh Climate Change Trust (BCCT). Thepurpose of the study is to focus on the activities of BCCT, its role onthe implementation process of the BCCSAP and identify the factorsaffecting the implementation. It has been traced out by analyzing theprojects of government agencies especially Bangladesh WaterDevelopment Board (BWDB) and Local Government EngineeringDepartment (LGED) because they are implementing maximumprojects of climate change. Qualitative research method has beenapplied to this study. Both primary and secondary data are collectedin order to assess the role and functions of BCCT in the policyimplementation process.
