摘要：This paper presents the CSR activities among developingnations. CSR practices have got more momentum among theWestern countries. However, the developing nations usephilanthropic and other charitable CSR activities which account a verysmall fraction of CSR landscape. The authors of this paper present thedetailed discussions why developing nations have not yet fullydeveloped CSR discourses.The authors also argue that philanthropic discourse of CSR is alsoembedded among the European nations but they have transformedfrom philanthropic to more sustainable business.This paper uses literature review method to extract the relevant dataof the CSR practices among developing nations. The list of developingnations is huge. Therefore, the authors of this paper have selected fewdeveloping nations including Middle East, Sri Lanka, Indonesia,Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.This paper argues that how CSR activities are carried among thesecountries, are their CSR activities fully developed in accordance withthe international standards.The discussions and findings are presented in the paper. The authorssuggest that empirical based research needs to be undertaken amongthe selected developing nations so that more can be learnt about theproblems and issues with CSR activities.
