摘要：The study focuses on impact of economics environment onthe performance of Nigeria Breweries industry. Specificallythe study sought to determine the effect of governmentpolicies on productivity of Nigerian breweries; ascertain the natureof the relationship between economic resources and growth ofNigeria breweries; determine the extent at which level of incomeenhance employee performance of Nigeria breweries. . The studyhad a population size of 1530, out of which a sample size of 317 wasrealized using taro Yamane’s formula at 5% error tolerance and 95%level of confidence. Instrument used for data collection wasprimarily questionnaire and interview. Out of 553 copies of thequestionnaire that were distributed, 317 copies were returned while27 were not returned. The descriptive survey research design wasadopted for the study. The hypotheses were tested using Pearsonproduct moment correlation coefficient, Chi-square and simplelinear regression statistical tools. The findings indicated governmentpolicies significantly affects productivity of Nigerian Breweries (r=0.811, 437.415; t = 6.976; p < 0.05). There is a positive relationshipbetween economic resources and growth of Nigeria breweries(r=.663, P<.05). Level of income significantly enhance employeeperformance of Nigeria Breweries (X2c= 75.036 > X2t = 9.49, p <0.05). The study concluded Nigeria economy is still struggling togain momentum as many high-income countries continue to grapplewith the legacies of the global financial crisis and emergingeconomies are less dynamic than in the past. The studyrecommended that government should formulate policies that willpromote and sustain interest of the infant and indigenous firms
