摘要:his study aims to evaluate the impact of organizationaltraining on the degree of organizational commitment ofemployees, and the impact of organizational commitment onturnover intentions. The empirical work is focused on the privatesecurity sector in Portugal, with a sample of 182 validatedquestionnaires applied to private security guards who were active atthe time. Organizational training and the turnover intentions werestudied as single constructs, while the organizational commitment hasbeen studied separately: affective organizational commitment,continuance organizational commitment and normativeorganizational commitment.Results support the existence of a direct and positive relationshipbetween organizational training and the three components oforganizational commitment (affective, normative and continuance).Results show a direct and negative relationship between affective andcontinuance organizational commitment and turnover intentions
