摘要:he rapid expansion of universities in Africa necessitates aninterrogation of the appropriateness of the trainingapproaches being used. The study investigated the influence ofTeam Based Learning (TBL) on Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (ESE) ofuniversity students in Kenya. The measure of TBL was group work,peer review, cooperative learning, collaboration and learning games.The measure of ESE was skills, knowledge, traits, attitude andconfidence. The target population was 147 fourth year studentsspecializing in entrepreneurship comprising those from private andpublic universities in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties out of which 109respondents were sampled. Data was collected using a structuredLikert-type questionnaire which was self-administered. The researcheremployed a survey design and multinomial logistic regression wasused to analyse data. The findings revealed that TBL contributedpositively towards ESE. High levels of ESE accelerate entrepreneurshipactivities, creativity and innovation resulting in economic growth. It isrecommended that peer review mechanism and playing games relatedto entrepreneurship should be encouraged because they enhance teamspirit, good interrelationship and networking which enhance lifelonglearning. The study recommends further research to identify suitableTBL games and how they can be integrated in the curriculum.
