摘要:The main objective of this study was to determine the influenceof cutting out the middle man model on performance ofwomen-led community-based micro-enterprises (WLCBMEs) inKenya. The population for this study consisted of the employees andowners of WLCBMEs. The total target population was 781. A total of257 respondents were used as the sample size for the study. Descriptivesurvey design was used in this study. Primary and secondary data wasused. While self-administered questionnaire and interview guide wasused to collect primary data, the study reviewed the previousevaluation reports to seek the secondary data on performance. Thedata collected was then analyzed by both descriptive and inferentialstatistical tools. Being that the current research was dealing with theinfluence study, the researcher therefore used regression model as atool of analysis and the information generated was presented in formof tables. The findings indicated that there was a positive relationshipbetween cutting out the middle man model and organizationperformance. Consequently, the null hypothesis was rejected. The studyconcluded that cutting out the middle man model has an effect onperformance of WLCBMEs in Kenya. Therefore it is therecommendation of the current study that this model is fit for thebusiness enterprises.
