摘要：The most existing digital learning resources have been called Learning Objects (LOs) when in fact they are simply digital content that have little reuse and poor quality. Increase capacity and quality of reuse of learning objects using the techniques of software engineering was the challenge presented in this article. The text gives a brief discussion of how the processes of development of existing LOs do not address adequately the issue of quality and reuse of LOs. In line with the challenge presented, the research group INTERA of UFABC is developing a new process for production of LOs focusing on quality and reuse. Overcoming the challenge addressed, it is intended to contribute to the investment in the production of LOs in Brazil is not wasted in the manufacture of LOs low quality and little reuse and thus may actually be used to enhance and supplement student learning
