标题:Estudio Mecánico de Paneles Estructurales en Madera de Pino Caribe Venezolano Empleados en un Sistema Constructivo de Plataforma con Entramado Ligero
摘要:We studied the compression and breakage behave our of structural panels made of Caribbean Venezuelan pine wood used in a light frame construction system. We compared compression behave our by evaluating the deformations observed as a result of the application of load to the panels which were both, covered and left uncovered on both side with mesh riplex and frieze. The covered panels proved to be more resistant than the panels without covering. Deformations were different in both cases. In the panels without a covering the deformations of the plane of the panel were predominantly lateral, while in the panels with a covering there were mainly perpendicular deformations of the plane of the panel. The statistical analysis confirmed that with compression loads between 500 kg and 1.500 kg there are no significant differences between the two types of panels studied. For loads between 2.000 kg and 3.500 kg there were statistical significant differences between the panels. For maximum loads of 4.000 kg there were highly significant differences between the types of panels. The breakage in the panels without cover appeared in approximately 87% of the structural elements (right feet or studs). Of the studs that failed, approximately 69% failed at the adjacencies of nailed joints (studs with sleepers), due to the presence of juvenile wood and the direct effect of the nailed joint.
