摘要：Eleven library directors recorded their work-related activities for twelve days. The activities depicted show them as both managers and leaders, and reflect contact with various individuals within and beyond the institution as the directors deal with local, regional, and national issues. This paper also highlights how previously identified attributes compare with their everyday work.
