摘要：Este artículo ofrece una panorámica sobre la labor traductora realizada en las colecciones de las tres grandes editoriales que marcaron la “época de oro” de la industria editorial argentina: Losada, Sudamericana y Emecé. En este contexto del llamado “auge editorial argentino”, cabe destacar la importante actividad desarrollada por un grupo de españoles exiliados en el país austral tras el estallido de la Guerra Civil en la Península. Además de oficiar como fundadores de las empresas editoriales, se desempeñaron como editores, asesores literarios, correctores y directores de colecciones. Pero, sobre todo, ejercieron como traductores. Entre 1936 y 1955, estas tres empresas asumieron el doble objetivo de modernizar la industria editorial local y de renovar los catálogos editoriales existentes. El palpable éxito de sus colecciones se debió, sin duda, tanto a la alta calidad de las traducciones publicadas como a la introducción de nuevas materias, géneros y autores que despertaban el interés del floreciente público lector latinoamericano. Desde Argentina, el espíritu de estas publicaciones se irradió hacia otros países del continente y propició un impulso al desarrollo de nuevos ámbitos de lectura y estudio, como la literatura, las ciencias sociales, el derecho, la filosofía, la pedagogía, las ciencias naturales o las ciencias aplicadas.
其他摘要：This article offers an overview of the translation work carried out in the book series of three major publishers that marked the “golden age” of the Argentine publishing industry: Losada, Sudamericana, and Emecé. In the context of the so-called “Argentine publishing boom”, it is crucial to point out the instrumental activity carried out by a group of Spanish exiles in the southern country after the outbreak of the Civil War in the Peninsula. In addition to officiating as founders of the publishing companies, they served as editors, literary consultants, readers or directors. More importantly, they worked as translators. Between 1936 and 1955, these three companies assumed the dual objective of modernizing the local publishing industry and renewing existing publishing catalogs. The apparent success of their collections was undoubtedly due both to the high quality of the published translations, and to the introduction of new materials, genres, and authors that aroused the interest of the burgeoning Latin American readership. From Argentina, the spirit of these publications radiated to other countries of the continent and provided a boost to the development of new fields of reading and study, such as literature, social sciences, law, philosophy, pedagogy, natural sciences, or applied sciences.
