摘要:Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Trans Semarang Corridor I is one of public transportation modes in City Region (BWK) I Semarang City. The existence of BRT Trans Semarang has not been supported by the provision of sidewalks as a safe and convenient non-motorized transportation infrastructure along the corridor. This study aims to evaluate the quality of sidewalk in BWK I as feeder to support BRT Trans Semarang Corridor I at BWK I. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. The analysis performed is pedestrian characteristic analysis based on the method of movement and the mode used, the analysis of sidewalk conditions based on pedestrian preference with Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and pedestrian quality analysis with Pedestrian Environmental Quality Index (PEQI) approach. The results show that the sidewalk conditions in BWK I have not been optimally in providing safety and comfort for pedestrians. Lighting and safety fencing is a very important variable and a top priority for improving security, while the presence of weather protection, the existence of the seat and the surface tilt (ramp) is a very important comfort variable and a top priority for improve comfort. The quality of the sidewalks in zone 2 as the city center and Central Business District (CBD) tends to be better than zone 1 and zone 3 which is the buffer zone. In addition, the provision of sidewalks still prioritizes on the main streets of the BRT corridor, where existing sidewalks have a base quality (base) and pedestrian acceptable.
