摘要：O texto propõe analisar a passagem da concepção freudiana de sonhos diurnos (devaneios) à sua elaboração da noção de fantasia. Essas duas noções se confundem em Freud até o momento em que o autor se depara com o problema das fantasias fundamentais. Com base nessa passagem, buscamos demonstrar a importância de um retorno a Freud que eleve a fantasia à sua estrutura lógica.
