摘要：A moral sexual é um fato da cultura. Não existe sociedade que não tenha regras a respeito do uso da libido. O controle em relação aos "prazeres da carne" sempre foi, em intensidades diferentes e em momentos variáveis, um elemento constitutivo do humano. Sendo o imaginário cultural uma construção sócio-histórica, este texto pretende mostrar que algumas teses freudianas, em particular as apresentadas em Moral sexual 'civilizada' e doença nervosa moderna (1908), batem frontalmente com certos ideais da cultura ocidental. Trata-se, pois, de tentar elucidar como a cultura ocidental criou a moral sexual civilizada geradora da doença nervosa moderna.
其他摘要：Sexual morality is a fact of culture. There is no society in which rules regarding the use of the libido are inexistent. Controlling the "pleasures of the flesh" has always been, in different intensities and changeable moments, a constituent element of the human being. Being the cultural imaginary a social-historical construction, the present article tries to show that some Freudian thesis, in particular those presented in Modern sexual Morality and Modern Nervousness (1908) frontally hit some Ideals of Occidental culture. Therefore, the authors try to elucidate how Occidental culture has created the sexual morality, which produces modern nervousness.
