摘要：O objetivo deste trabalho é situar o método fenomenológico aquém das antinomias entre os métodos qualitativo e quantitativo de pesquisa, e mostrar aspectos da profícua relação da filosofia de Merleau-Ponty com as ciências para a revelação do sentido dos fenômenos.
