摘要：A Histerectomia atualmente representa a segunda cirurgia mais realizada entre mulheres em idade fértil, no Brasil. Consiste na extração cirúrgica do útero, órgão feminino comumente investido de grande carga afetiva e vinculado à fertilidade e sexualidade, sendo considerado importante representante da feminilidade. Como tratamento cirúrgico, pode desencadear fortes mudanças refletidas no corpo, no psiquismo e no social. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar se o evento da histerectomia, devido ao valor simbólico do útero, pode comprometer a sexualidade da mulher. Trata-se de um estudo de abordagem qualitativa com amostra definida obedecendo ao critério de saturação de dados, os dados obtidos através de entrevistas foram analisados seguindo a técnica de análise de conteúdo. A maioria das entrevistadas associou o útero à reprodução, apontou repercussões negativas na sexualidade após a cirurgia, como falta de desejo e prazer sexual, porém, recomendou a cirurgia como tratamento para doenças do útero. A pesquisa contribui para um maior conhecimento sobre os valores atribuídos ao útero e as repercussões da histerectomia na sexualidade feminina. Como conclusão, percebe-se a relevância de uma abordagem à saúde da mulher que envolva aspectos biológicos, psíquicos e culturais.
其他摘要：Hysterectomy today represents the second most performed surgery in women at fertile age in Brazil. It consists of the surgical removal of the uterus, female organ commonly associated with affection, fertility and sexuality. It is considered, therefore, an important symbol of femininity. As surgical treatment, it can trigger considerable changes in the body, mind and social. This paper aims to investigate if hysterectomy, due to the symbolism of the uterus, can compromise the woman's sexuality. It's a study of qualitative approach with a defined sample, following the data saturation criteria. The data was obtained through interview and analyzed according to the content analysis technique. The majority of the interviewed woman associated the uterus to reproduction and pointed negative repercussions in their sexuality after the surgery, such as lack of sexual desire and pleasure. However, they recommended the surgery as treatment for uterus diseases. The research contributed to enrich the knowledge about the values attributed to the uterus and the repercussions of hysterectomy in female sexuality. As a conclusion, it is perceived that an approach to women's health that involves biological, psychological and cultural aspects is relevant.
