摘要：O funcionamento executivo é uma concepção neuropsicológica que se aplica às atividades cognitivas responsáveis pelo planejamento e execução de tarefas, que inclui flexibilidade mental. Tais processos cognitivos são produzidos diariamente, pois uma série de problemas ocorrem na vida do ser humano. Assim, independente do grau de complexidade do problema, o sujeito precisa estar apto para analisar a situação, programar estratégias, e antever as conseqüências de sua decisão. O presente estudo visou avaliar o funcionamento executivo através do Wisconsin Card Sorting Test versão Nelson, que tem sido um dos principais instrumentos, voltados ao exame das funções executivas. Para isso foram recrutados 15 sujeitos com idades que variaram de 30 a 44 anos e de 5 a 8 anos de escolaridade, verificando-se que houve desempenho dentro do esperado no teste, para a maioria dos indivíduos dessa amostra, no que diz respeito a comparação de idade e escolaridade.
其他摘要：The executive functioning is a concept that applies neuropsychological cognitive activities responsible for planning and execution of tasks, including mental flexibility. Such cognitive processes are produced daily, for a number of problems are part of human life. Thus, regardless of the degree complexity of the problem, the subject must be able to analyze the situation, devise strategies, and anticipate the consequences of their decision. This study aimed to evaluate executive functioning through the Nelson´s modified card sorting test, which has been one of the main aim is the examination of executive functions. To this were recruited 15 subjects with ages ranging between 30 to 44 years and 5 to 8 years of schooling, verifying that performance was as expected in test, for most individuals in this sample, as regards the comparison of age and education.
