摘要：Este artigo objetivou, através de algumas incursões teóricas, mostrar a importante contribuição da neuropsicologia no curso das desordens cerebrais, especificamente alterações cognitivas associadas ao Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC) e a relação existente entre os achados neuropsicológicos e a presença de depressão destes pacientes, permitindo análise mais ampla da necessidade de estudos que levem em conta as relações entre humor e o funcionamento cognitivo.
其他摘要：This article has the intention of showing, through theoretical incursions, the important contribution of neuropsychology in the course of the cerebral disorders. Specifically, in cognitive alterations associated with cerebral stroke and the existent relationship between neuropsychological discoveries and the presence of depression in these patients; thus allowing wider analysis of the need for studies that take into consideration the relationship between the humor and cognitive functioning.
