摘要:The study presents the analysis of the documents regulating education system –The National Aims of General Education, The National Curriculum, Teacher Professional Standards, Teacher Professional Code of Ethics, The National Qualifications Framework, and Specific Characteristics of Teacher Education Programs – from the standpoint of pedagogical sciences. The content of each document is viewed based on the educational policy of the country and relevant conclusions are drawn. Namely: • The educational policy is not determined by the state in the process of education system reforms, in particular, regarding the type of citizen it desires to prepare; • Georgian educational space legislation is not based on ethno-psychological and socio-cultural characteristics of Georgia; • Legislative documentation is not based on the classical and contemporary achievements in pedagogy; • The impression is that Georgian documents regulating educational space are the translations of the analogous documents of foreign countries
