摘要:Is there a legal, social-cultural or mental problem of gender inequality really faced in present-day Georgia? What legal steps have there been made for eliminating gender inequality and gender role stereotyping in Georgia for 25 years since regaining independence? This research aims at answering the above-mentioned questions, and after doing so, also at suggesting specific legal steps to the decision makers. These are the steps to be made/implemented for ensuring the real gender equality in the long run, which is necessary for the effective realization of the rights of people having different gender.
