摘要：La experiencia onírica desdibuja las fronteras entre el sujeto y el objeto, desencadenando la transformación del uno en el otro, es decir, que el sujeto le da su forma al objeto gracias al movimiento de la subjetividad. De esta manera, el sujeto se torna objeto de su propio sueño, con lo que el estado pasional rige el aparecer de las imágenes. Se trata de una deformación coherente porque se transforma la vida en sueños. Con ello se replantea la dinámica entre la percepción y la imaginación, pero en los términos de la vigilia y el sueño, respectivamente, con el afán de proponer una semiología del onirismo que describa el relato del sueño como el proceso por el que la sustancia onírica deviene forma en la imagen. Para ello, el foco de atención se ha centrado en la estética del romanticismo que reconoció en el sueño una vida otra.
