摘要:Uneven distribution of internal temperature and air flow field are considered to be the essential defects of the Λ-frame air-cooled condenser (ΛACC) in a power plant. Lateral air supplement to a noble, truncated cone-shaped air-cooled condenser (TCACC) is investigated by mean of numerical simulation to solve these problems fundamentally and improve the performance of the air-cooled condenser (ACC) obviously. A Circular ring, installing at the bottom of the heat transfer surface, the structure of which is optimized. According to compare a series of ACCs in different fan inlet air conditions, the TCACC with a lateral air supply (TCACCL) is obtained for heat transfer and safety. The numerical results indicate that the lateral air supplement is an effective way to improve the thermo-flow performance of TCACC.
