摘要：This paper provides a study of the defensive system of Contrebia Carbica based on the aerial photography series. The result of this analysis allow us to think about the development of analogous cities during the 2nd century in Celtiberia . It is a fact that we link to he Italic influence in this area. In this way, the Gracchus' peace can be the trigger for a dramatic and irreversible change in the indigenous culture which will transform the urban planning, and thus the way of life, during the second part of the second century B.C.
