摘要：Despertaram nossa atenção, dentro do campo artístico que se denomina atualmente de arte contemporânea, algumas obras que não parecem fazer apelo à beleza e à boa forma. Ao contrário, utilizam-se muitas vezes de materiais repulsivos e do próprio corpo do artista, e o nosso olhar é atraído pelo horror que elas suscitam. A partir de uma revisão bibliográfica de artigos que tratam da relação entre arte contemporânea e psicanálise, questionamos se aquela estaria mais próxima do real, ou seja, se encontraria no limite da representação. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo problematizar a relação entre o conceito lacaniano de real e a arte ou, mais precisamente, refletir sobre o lugar do real na arte contemporânea, sobretudo na performance. Utilizamos os conceitos de corpo despedaçado e Estranho (Unheimlich), para melhor fundamentar tal reflexão, além de lançar mão da produção artística de ORLAN.
其他摘要：Within the artistic field that is currently called contemporary art, some of the works that do not seem to appeal to beauty and good form have aroused our attention. On the contrary, often using repulsive materials and the artist’s own body, our gaze is drawn to the horror they arouse. From a bibliographical review of articles that deal with the relationship between contemporary art and psychoanalysis, we questioned whether it would be closer to the real, that is, if it would be at the limit of the representation. The present work has the objective to problematize the relationship between the Lacanian concept of real and art, or more precisely, to reflect on the place of the real in contemporary art, especially in performance. We will use the concepts of shattered body and Strange (Unheimlich), to better ground such reflection, as well as to use Orlan’s artistic production.
