摘要：La autoría a Peter Casteels I del lienzo de la Bacanal del Museo de La Habana, atribuido a Jacob Jordaens, es el motivo de este artículo. Es el primero dedicado a este pintor flamenco, prácticamente ignorado. Esto da opción a fijar su personalidad y añadir nuevas obras, también con equívoca atribución, a un futuro catálogo. La ocasión nos obliga a un recuerdo para el prócer que poseía la obra, Julio Lobo, cuya vocación artística explica el mayor legado de la pintura antigua en el Museo Nacional de La Habana.
