  • 摘要:Disseminators as Those Who Open the Door to Basic Education Offerings. Initial experiences with sensitisation workshops. Representatives from the private or social environment play a significant role in paving the way for potential target groups to participate in basic education course offerings. If disseminators, i.e. people who because of their occupation are in contact with this group of potential participants, succeed in becoming key persons and representatives, a bridge is built between individuals and organised continuing education. Yet how can these experts be sensitised to their key function? What do they require in their daily professional life to recognise potential target groups for basic education? How can they approach these groups with sensitivity and what role does cooperation play in finding a solution? This article provides insight into the specific design, implementation and evaluation of a sensitisation workshop that trains experts in basic financial education to become disseminators. The concept was developed during the project “Curriculum and Professionalisation of Basic Financial Education” (CurVe II) at the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE). One encouraging conclusion is that a clear majority of participants in sensitisation workshops recognised their function as a “bridge” to continuing education and were motivated to exploit this in their daily professional life when dealing with learners in the area of basic education.
