Depuis le début du siècle jusqu'à notre époque, les associations de sport ont joué un rôle fondamental dans la canalisation des pratiquants de modalités sportives bien différentes vers le territoire natural y rural de Madrid, c'est pourquoi sa connaisance est indispensable pour expliquer l'usage massif actuel qui pese sur cet espace.
