其他摘要：This paper first briefly reviews that stylistics is applied to the teaching of English by scholars both abroad and in china, then discusses what and how to do stylistic analysis, and then by means of three sample analyses it aims at illustrating the view that as an effective method, stylistic analysis is conducive to improving students’ abilities of reading and appreciation, and it concludes that it is both necessary and practical to apply stylistics to Advanced English teaching.
