摘要:The purpose of this qualitative case study is to represent the current level of motivation of a Turkish EFL teacher at a secondary school in Turkey and her demotivational reasoning. The data was collected from four sources: a) interview, b) self-reflection papers, c) face-to-face conversations, and d) a diary maintained by the participant. The analysis was based on pattern matching. The findings showed that lack of self-motivation is one of the most important issues that cause demotivation. Further, the study showed that extrinsic factors are also effective for the demotivation of the EFL teacher.
