摘要:This study aimed to conduct translation and transcultural adaptation of the Serious Leisure Inventory and Measure (SLIM) and investigate initial evidence of construct validity (reliability and internal structure). Participants were 361 university students (63% female) aged 18-26. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated the adequacy of the 18-factor model, with adjustment indexes presenting values close to those of the original article [χ2 / gl = 1.95; CFI = 0.90; TLI = 0.89; RMSEA = 0.05 (0.04-0.05); SRMR = 0.05]. Reliability indexes for these factors varied from 0.73 to 0.94. SLIM-Brazil has satisfactory validity evidence to be used with young Brazilians. With this instrument available in Portuguese, it would be important to carry out studies from the perspective of serious leisure with other age groups.
