  • 摘要:Cultural diversity in society and in the classroom is a reality to consider and not ignore. Research in this field and attitudes developed by educators inexorably become relevant and necessary for the construction of a future society free from unnecessary conflicts. This study analyzes family attitudes through semi-structured interviews. A qualitative and quantitative analysis resulted in appreciation of the profile of thinking about cultural diversity. The degree of concordance of these attitudes is reflected in an analysis of the results, appreciating both a lack of awareness of culturally diverse groups, advantages of personal enrichment, and a conviction for the need for schools to integrate both students and their families, prepare teachers and foment optimal relationships between students, teachers and families. However, there are divergences in school function, in relation to behaviors, beliefs, traditions and difficulties, and in the teacher training to overcome these and the treatment of diversity.
