摘要：The proposal of the present contribution is to present the critical edition of the oldest Sephardic version known of the Ma‘asé Yehudit . It was published in Constantinople in 1758 included in the booklet Lúaḥ areź , published by Nisim ben Yoná Aškenaźí. The translator of this story (from Hebrew), Yiŝḥac Valero, says in the cover that he copied it in ladino. Effectively, the translation from the numerous biblical quotations and fragments of prayers follow the style from the translations of the Bible in ladino at that time and in the previous centuries. The story follows the textual tradition of the one content in Ḥemdat yamim (Izmir 1731-1732), but it is far from being literal. So, after considering some clues, we think that this is an eclectic version, because doesn’t trace none of those known until know.
