摘要：This article studies the importance oí familialism, understood as an institution that assigns important responsibilities to the family as a key welfare provider together with the state and the market. The relationship between solidarity and familialism is analysed in terms of its impact on gender relations in Spain írom the first social security mechanisms established by the Franco regime up until the present.
