摘要：The current article deals with the legal aspects concerning the environmental protection of Lake Paranoá and its surrounding areas. From the historical retrospective about the origin of the lake and from the analysis of protective laws, we seek to verify the adequacy of the legal treatment to the original design of the Lake Paranoá and its hydrographical basin.
