摘要：Althoug some articles has discussed the history of the Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) during Frondizi´s government, those researchs are part of investigations about wider periods. Likewise, the bibliography about the división of radicalism and ulterior interactions between UCRI and UCRP is mostly of the past century. Finaly, there are no specific studies that focus on political persecution and imprisonment during frondicism. However, in the Chamber of Deputies´s debates of those years, we found that topic as a point of heated discussions between the two radical parties. For these reasons, this research aims to be a first aproximation to the reflexion on the debates that took place in the Chamber of Deputies in the period 1958-1961 regarding the role of goverment and the repression against the proscribed Peronist party. We focus on the discussions wich took place in the context of the Comisión Investigadora de Supuestos Apremios Ilegales. This Comisión was created for the purpose of investigating the conflict about political detentions and imprisonments. We have two main objectives: in the first place, to visualize the discussions related to the figure of the political persecuted and prisoner during frondicism in the Chamber of Deputies. Secondly, we will reflect on the political use of this conflict in the context of disputes between the two main powerful legal parties (UCRI and UCRP). The main sources are the Diarios de Sesiones of the National Chamber of Deputies (1959-1961) and the files of the Comisión Investigadora de Supuestos Apremios Ilegales (1960).
