摘要：In order to collect relevant data on the status of habitats and species which could be applied in the management of the Lokrum marine area, the paper shows the stages in the research of this area. Reliable published data, travelogues and scientific papers, were analysed and taken into consideration to propose the guidelines for managing primarily the marine area of the Natura 2000 site Lokrum.
