摘要：Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo fue estudiar la filosofía y la reforma educativa de Rabindranath Tagore en la India y su influencia en Omar Dengo y Joaquín García Monge, pensadores y educadores costarricenses de la primera mitad del siglo XX. Por una parte, se recopiló y se revisó con detalle la bibliografía sobre la labor y filosofía educativa de Tagore dentro del país y fuera de este; y por otra se analizó la obra literaria y sobre la educación de Omar Dengo y Joaquín García Monge, donde se contempló su labor como educadores, en un momento de cambios paradigmáticos de la educación costarricense. Las conclusiones del trabajo derivan del resultado de la interpretación y comparación del pensamiento y actividad educativa de estos tres educadores.
其他摘要：This article presents the results of research, whose aim was to study the philosophy and educational reform of Rabindranath Tagore in India and its influence on Omar Dengo and Joaquín García Monge, costarrican thinkers and educators of the first part of XX century. First, it was compiled and reviewed in detail the bibliography about the work and educational philosophy of Tagore inside and outside of the country, as well as the literary and educational work of Omar Dengo and Joaquín García Monge, like his work as educators, in a moment of paradigmatic changes in the Costa Rican education. The conclusions of the work derive from the result of the interpretation and comparison of the thought and educational activity of these three educators.
