摘要：This paper attempts to update some hypothesis and evidences about instrumental composition and performance in seventeenth-century Spain, looking at both the different written documents and the extant musical sources. The existence of parallelisms between the different ecclesiastic, civil ant theatrical music traditions leads to an assimilation of related genres, and brings out some important consequences on performance practice.
