摘要：In the Islamic West, urban elites owned recreational farms usually located on the outskirts of cities, but also at points at some distance from the urban area, which often combined the productive purpose with that of temporary residence for the recreation and solace of their owners. We know of some residential or palatine buildings belonging to almunias associated with sultans. However, there are still many questions about this type of farms to which neither written sources nor archaeology have succeeded in providing answers. Since the study of aristocratic property, and thus of the elites, is one of the pillars of social and historical analysis and little attention has been paid to the case of al-Andalus in spite of the fact that we have in recent years had access to new evidence, we consider it pertinent to gather together the information, both archaeological and documentary, related to the aristocratic exploitation and settlement in the urban hinterland of Andalusi Murcia.
