摘要:Exclusionary practices are harmful social experiences for one’s identity and self-perception of those who suffer them. Among the various social groups that have historically experienced social exclusion practices, the sexual minorities are included. This project explores the perceptions of social exclusion, lived by five transgender individuals in three universities in the city of Medellin (Colombia). The method used was the hermeneutical and technique of gathering information was episodic interview. The results showed that there is an absence of inclusive policies toward transgender people in universities, involving vulnerability, invisibility and marginality, having effects on their self-perception and social integration.
