  • 摘要:The present article is a result of a phenomenological research whose intention was to understand the experience to be teacher of four teachers who works in a school with non traditional education in Medellin. The importance of this experience lies in being a testimony of other possible ways of understanding the role of the teacher and its pedagogical practice, concordant with some of the approaches made by the Movimiento Pedagógico en Colombia in last years of xx century, some of which remain relevant in the current historical context. The data was constructed from in-depth interviews that were recorded and transcribed in full. With this material, the Open Coding process was started and subsequently, the Axial Coding process with respect to the master category. Three subcategories were established: 1) Teacher as a testimony of humanity accomplished , 2) Being a teacher is being an apprentice and 3) Being a teacher is being a maker of meanings . In the present text we will present the second of them.
