  • 摘要:This paper presents a vaccination strategy for fighting against the propagation of epidemic diseases. The disease propagation is described by a SIRS (susceptible plus infected plus recovered populations) epidemic model. The model takes into account that the recovered individuals lose the disease immunity after a finite time period. A control technique based on a model linearization approach is used to design the vaccination strategy in order to eradicate the infection from the population. Moreover, the controlled system is guaranteed to be positive and stable under such a vaccination control strategy. A simulation example illustrates the theoretical results relative to the stability and positivity of the controlled system while guaranteeing the eradication of the epidemics.
