摘要：Education helps individual to know about the facts, understand new things and develop vision to understand life. Education of girls in any society is more essencial because an educated women has own set of values and understanding power. She has the skills, information and self-confidence that she needs to be a better parent, worker and citizen. For a developed nation and better society, girls education and their higer academic achievement is very significant. Attitude towards education could be understand as students thoughts, opinions and views about education. It is one of the key factors which affect academic achievement of students. It is strongly connected with academic achievement. The aim of this paper is to study the attitude of Girl students of senior secondary schools towards education and their academic achievement. The study was conducted on a sample of 200 senior secondary school girl students studying in government and semi government school of Bijnor district.
