摘要：This research is characterized as a case study in a rural property of Bom Despacho, Minas Gerais. His goal was to assess economic and financial activity of the dairy company. To achieve this objective a survey was made of costs and expenses and income incurred during the year 2011. From this information it was possible to perform the calculation and analyzing financial indicators, namely, debt, profitability, profitability, liquidity and solvency. The analyzes indicated the economic and financial viability of the enterprise in question, since the company generated profit on sales, return to shareholders, increased its equity and is in a solvency. However, despite concluding that the business is profitable, the company must be aware of compliance with its obligations not to compromise your situation, since the indicators did not point gap in their levels of liquidity. Before the diagnosis, proposals were made for improvements to assist in the planning and execution of the activity.
