摘要:The content of the paper focuses on analyzing theoretical background and current status of the lectur- ers’ academic counseling skill: counseling skills for students about studying methods in higher education; coun- seling skills for students in scientific research; career counseling skills for students; counseling skills for students to implement internal rules and regulations. On the basis of the research, the author of the article proposed some recommendations for developing academic counseling skills for lecturers – advisors in universities, thereby im- proving the quality of academic counseling for students.
