摘要：O presente artigo busca questionar se a dignidade da pessoa humana se limita a tutelar a pessoa humana ou se abrange outras espécies vivas, identificando, em revisão de bibliografia, quem é o titular de direito dessa dignidade e que modo na ordem constitucional podemos identificar um possível alcance as demais espécies vivas a partir da vedação constitucional de crueldade.
