摘要：Irrigated agriculture provides jobs, increases production, productivity and crop yields. However, irrigation systems, especially the pressurized ones, demand electric power and expensive components, that hinders their use in small-scale cultivated areas or in situations of resources scarcity. Thus, the use of sustainable equipment made of accessible and recyclable material is one of the current alternatives to minimize expenses with irrigation systems. These devices are simple to make and can be used in community and school gardens, improving the productivity of small crops. In this way, this work aims to present sustainable irrigators developed by students of the extension project denominated “Equipment made with recyclable materials” and presented in an extension course taught at the VI Book and Library Week of the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Campus of Tupã, with the participation of students, employees and the community of the same institution.
