摘要:Discussions about who should give media literacy courses have been going on since the 2007-2008 school year when the curriculum was electively elected. This course is mainly given by teachers of social studies and Turkish teachers. Media literacy is a rarely discussed and discussed concept in teacher education as it is a new subject in education. The purpose of this study is to examine the qualifications of the teachers who gave the elective media literacy course and the attainment of the purpose of this course in the eyes of the teachers.
